| Description |
The Human Monocyte Enrichment Kit is designed to isolate monocytes from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood monocytes by negative selection. Unwanted cells are targeted for removal by a quaternary antibody complex that recognizes non-monocytes and a dextran-coated magnetic particle. The complex also contains an antibody to the human Fc receptor to prevent the non-specific binding of monocytes. The labeled cells are separated using magnets without the use of a column. The desired cells are poured into a new test tube. |
